YAQOOT began with a simple question: what if the technology we use at home felt as considered as the ritual it replaces?
A quieter kind of beauty technology
Our first device, YAQOOT PRO, is an at-home IPL system designed around the point of contact. Cooling is built into the lens rather than only the body. Nine energy levels and four modes let you follow the setting your manual recommends, not the loudest number on the box.
We are launching in South Africa, and we have written this store the way we would want to be spoken to: clear about what the technology does, honest about what it cannot promise, and specific about price.
What we believe
- Clarity over hype. IPL supports gradual hair reduction over a course of sessions. Individual results vary, and no device should promise permanence.
- Suitability first. Not every skin tone, hair colour or health history is right for IPL. We would rather lose a sale than skip that conversation.
- Repair over replace. PRO lenses are replaceable, so the part that wears can be renewed without replacing the whole device.
- Privacy by default. We collect only what we need to fulfil an order, and we look after it as POPIA requires.
Where we are
We are based in Johannesburg and deliver throughout South Africa with tracked courier partners. Our care team answers in English, Afrikaans, isiZulu and Arabic — and our chat can translate any language you prefer.
